Jaromir Jagr scored the 1400th point of his career in tonight's game against the Florida Panthers on a feed by Mats Sundin. I'm not out here to set records, but it's always nice to get the points, he said after the game in the dressing room.
A native of Czech, Jaromir Jagr was originally drafted to the NHL by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1st round of the 1990 entry draft. He has appeared in 1091 NHL games during his career, notching 579 goals and adding 821 assists along with 765 penalty minutes. The 34 year old left wing has played 64 games with the Montreal Canadiens this season, totalling 42+49=91 with 66 PIM.
